Growing up, mom always prepared our snacks and meals in advance. She would make all types of Korean rice dishes and stews, pack them in microwavable containers and freeze them! All we had to do was defrost them and pop them straight into the microwave or cook them on the stove. It was so simple. And the food tasted as if she cooked it right there on the spot!
